Throw Back Thursday…All the way back to November

Since I sort of dropped the ball on blogging in November I decided to do a little throwback post.

It is also a great opportunity to look back and try and remember what it was like to be warm.
It's so stinking cold here right now, I'm perma-living in my
fluffy blanket and my hands and feet have decided that they are happier living as icicles.

Luckily my husband is a living breathing space heater so I've just become attached to him.
Every guy loves cold feet on his back right?  right.

Anyhoo, on to the warmer days of yore...

Ahhh….is it spring yet?

An Afternoon of Blue Gills

So we have been in this house almost a full year now,
and Mike FINALLY found a fishing spot within walking distance to our house.
It's been great fun even though the average fish size is all of 4 inches.

Maddie and Ella LOVE reeling in the fish and then throwing them back,
and Maddie will tell you every time what kind of fish she "caught".
(Today they were mostly Blue Gill with a couple Crappie Fish thrown in)

It was a gorgeous day out, even if it was a little chilly
and it was great to get outside as a family.
Ella ended up taking a nap in the Ergo and Maddie
and I sat on rock and discussed important topics that only a 5 year old could think up.

Maddie is so entertaining.
She is very opinionated and passionate about almost everything.
Great qualities, but frustrating when I try and teach her something
 because I keep getting a
"I know MOM".

(I have no idea where she gets that from)
(Ah karma, you are a stinker)
