Road Trip to Yuma

We drove to Yuma Arizona for Christmas this year.  It 

was a 16 hour drive that we stretched out to 20 hours by taking the "Fishing Route".  

We broke the trip up into three days and Mike was able to fish in Pueblo Colorado and 

at the Navajo Dam in New Mexico.  

The girls and I got to hang out and swim in hotel pools and walk around and explore.  

We built fairy houses, took walks, took LOTs of pictures, had dance parties in hotel rooms,

 and enjoyed freedom from knowing what the day had in store for us.  

It was a lovely and relaxing way to start off our vacation.

Traveling Day on Sutton Vacay!

Day one of Key West vacation involved a full day of traveling, but we were still fresh! pumped! excited! and it wasn't all that bad…unlike the trip home, which I got no pictures for because…

well yeah...

(exhaustion, screaming baby, exhaustion, extra plane time, exhaustion)

But I regress…the trip TO Florida was delightful.  Kids getting to play together again with cousins.  Family togetherness, uneventful plane rides, layovers that were just long enough but not too long, kids who behaved incredibly well…ahhhhh, it was nice.  :-)  It was a long day though, 

I woke up at 5:20 that morning and we flew into Key West around 9-ish.  

Grabbed some dinner to eat at our rental and crashed for the night.  Best sleep I've had in a while!
