Ella Bea

What do you do on a cold snowy day when your mom is a photographer?
You play dress up with her newborn props and have a photoshoot!

Lol, I've been dying to play in my studio with a baby,
so I bribed my "baby" to model for me.
She thought it was pretty funny, and kept giggling.

I pretty much love them!!

Weekly Tidbits

I took this photo of the girls wanting to get a shot of them holding hands, but as I looked at it later I realized what a perfect snapshot of their little personalities it was.  I have never been one to pick out the girls' outfit and make them wear a certain thing.  As soon as Maddie was able to she has picked out her own outfits and dressed herself.  Recently (the last couple of months or so) Ella has started doing the same.  I love seeing what they come up with and I really enjoy the uniqueness of their choices.  I hope that they keep and nurture their individuality in the years to come and rock it with the same amount of confidence they exude now.

We watched the Super Bowl at Chad and Kyndra's house.  Ella entertained everyone by walking around in my high hills…I have to say, she is much better at walking in them than I am!

Last week Maddie's preschools went over service workers and what their jobs entail.  On the postman day they sent a letter to a classmate and it was a long couple of days for Maddie waiting for her letter to come.  It did eventually come, but I think she was most excited to get to do the keys all by herself and check the mail everyday!

I took a shot like this last year for my very first day of my 365.  I thought it would be fun to recreate it.  It's fun to see how much they've grown in a 13 months!

February Photo Dump

Ahhh…hello. I'm slacking again.  January was a whirlwind…
Here's a little of our February so far.

"Mom, all boys are ridiculous"
Yes, yes they are...

The marble run continues to be in constant rotation…
they found the extra bag of marbles and it's been like a whole new toy…
and a whole new noise level.

It was super nice here for a week and then it snowed like crazy and then it warmed right back up again. I think I can tolerate winter if it stays nice like this.
The girls take full advantage of it!

Maddie played babysitter for a while…she was in love.
I think she is definitely going to be the neighborhood babysitter when she gets a little older!

And there was lots and lots of rock painting…
our rock beds are going to be so pretty next summer!  ;-)

I swear I'll try and do better about blogging this month!
I've been a busy bee trying to get a professional website up and running, and legitimize my photography business.

I have a lot of respect for web designers…it's hard!
